Spend the day immersed in California’s culture–past and present–on the grounds of an original 1845 rancho at Reyes Adobe Days in Agoura Hills. The weekend festival kicks off on Thursday, 10/10, with a Senior Fiesta Luncheon, offering a catered Mexican buffet, entertainment and tours of the historic adobe home and barn. On 10/11, Night at the Adobe is a lovely evening of local art under the stars with wine and beer tasting, music and exhibits raising funds for cultural arts programs. On 10/13, the weekend fun begins with RAD Runs, offering 10K and 10miler scenic courses through the mountains, followed by a 10am RAD Parade with celebrity Grand Marshal Regan Burns, plus floats, bands, and classic cars leading to the festival grounds. The Day at the Adobe free family festival activities include pony rides, petting zoo, history scavenger hunt, and rancho living demonstrations with museum tours. Performance stages feature Queen and Elton John tributes! Also, locally-made art and artisan wares, craft beer and wine and food trucks. Family festival hours are 11 am to 4pm.
