Rev. Karen S. Wylie, Agape-licensed minister and spiritual counselor and author of Into Me See, a collection of essays, affirmations, and spiritual insights collected over her 20-plus-year spiritual journey, is offering a new Online Meditation Retreat on Saturday, July 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Registration is through her website: www.karenswylie.com.
“We sit in meditation,” she says, “to discover the peace within us, which flows throughout our being, soothing, warming and harmonizing our body, mind and soul. It is exactly what we need in this time of confusion and chaos in our outer world.”
The morning will include three 30-minute sittings divided by 10-minute breaks and a concluding yoga nidra sitting. Yoga nidra has been called “among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness.” There will be an opportunity for sharing and discussion at the end of the online retreat.
People of all faiths and traditions, or no tradition, are welcome to participate and no prior knowledge of yoga or meditation are required.
Registration is $25 via PayPal, when further instructions will be provided. For more information, contact Rev. Karen at 310-968-8928. Rev. Karen is the author of Into Me See: A Book for Daily Inspiration, available on Amazon and her website.
