Contemporary crime writer and former “Los Angeles Times” reporter, Michael Connelly will discuss his new book Dark Sacred Night, the 21st title of his popular Bosch series at the Agoura Hills One City One Book community read program. The author will also discuss his investigative reporting on the 1985 unsolved murder of Judy Kanan, a descendant of the Waring family, which played a key role in settling Agoura in the 1860s. The city-sponsored event is Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the Agoura Hills Event and Recreation Center, 29900 Ladyface Court, Agoura Hills, CA 91301. The event begins at 6 pm with refreshments being served at 5:30 pm. A Q&A with the audience follows the discussion. Admission is free, but registration is required; space is limited.
