Pierpont Racquet Club in Ventura is currently hosting the Love-Zoe Tennis Tournament, which began May 2 and will end May 21 with a “main event” celebration featuring an awards ceremony, dinner, guest speakers and more.

The tournament is a fundraiser for ZOE, a nonprofit organization based in Santa Clarita whose mission is to end child trafficking and restore survivors and at-risk orphans. One of its programs is the ZOE Youth Home, where rescued children are placed to receive medical care, counseling, education, and vocational training. Funds from the Love-Zoe tournament will go towards the building of a barn to house animals used for animal therapy for sex trafficked girls ages 12 to 17.

“These people made a difference by playing tennis,” said Love-Zoe Event Coordinator Tammy Morrell. “Every dollar raised gets us closer to building a barn with horses, puppies and other animals for sex trafficked children at a nearby ZOE Youth Home.”
