Several Oxnard families will have homes for the holidays thanks to Habitat for Humanity Ventura County, which delivered the keys to six families last month. The homes, located in the La Colonia neighborhood in Oxnard, were built by the families themselves with help from Habitat and over 1,000 volunteers. “A Habitat home is a stabilizing force for a family,” said Darcy Taylor, CEO of Habitat for Ventura County. “We are overjoyed that these families now have the opportunity to build a better life, thanks to our supporters.”
