Employees of Area Energy (an oil and gas operations company) and local residents assembled Thanksgiving dinner boxes on Nov. 20 for more than 50 area families through Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families in Camarillo. Aera Energy also donated a refrigerated truck to pick up the donation and deliver to Casa Pacifica. The boxes included canned and dry goods (flour, canned yams, cranberry sauce, stuffing mix, etc.), along with an aluminum turkey roasting pan and pie pan, plus bread, fresh vegetables and whipped topping for the pumpkin pie.
