DUCKY DOOLITTLE SEXOLOGY Thursday, May 23. Bombshell sex educator and author of Sex with the Lights on: 200 Illuminating Sex Questions Answered, Ducky Doolittle brings her Sexology Spring/Summer tour to the Kama Sutra Closet in Ventura to share her wealth of knowledge about how to “take your guy over the edge” and the art of the female orgasm, two separate classes. She is a certified emergency room Sexual Assault and Violence Intervention Counselor and has trained with Planned Parenthood in comprehensive STD prevention and comprehensive & medically accurate sex education. SIMI VALLEY BLUES AND CAJUN FESTIVAL Saturday and Sunday, May 25 and 26, 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. This popular annual event returns with an excellent lineup of blues, Cajun, Creole and zydeco entertainment plus vendors, authentic Cajun and Creole food and plenty of activities and special entertainment for kids. Proceeds benefit various local nonprofit organizations. Musical artists include Janiva Magness, Elvin Bishop, Lisa Haley and the Zydecats, Mannish Boys, James Harmon and many more. $15-$20, children younger than 5 are free. VEGAN MEXICAN POP-UP Saturday, May 25, 5-10 p.m. Flacos, a vegan Mexican restaurant based in Berkeley, will be hosting its first Pop-Up in downtown Oxnard.
