1Art in motion
Similar to mobile billboards, a local artist showcased his painting on an older model Mercedes last Sunday during Ventura’s flagship fall arts event, Harvest ArtWalk.

2Mural for climate action
Volunteers of VCCool (Ventura Climate Care Options Organized Locally) created a “350” mural on Saturday, the International Day of Climate Action, at their painting party and potluck. As part of the global movement to strengthen world-wide climate crisis policy, Venturans came together to paint a large, colorful mural across a local garage door.

More than 5,200 events were staged in 181 countries, to demand that world leaders at the United Nations craft powerful global policy that will bring the world in line with safe greenhouse gas limits of 350 ppm of carbon dioxide.
