Yoga Jones will be celebrating the Tenth Anniversary of its opening on Sunday, March 17, 2013, from 7:30 AM to 9 PM, with a day-long benefit for FOOD Share Ventura. Yoga Jones is a yoga center offering classes in a variety of styles to students of all kinds, located at 105 S. Oak (corner of Santa Clara) in the heart of downtown Ventura. FOOD Share, established in 1983, provides food and support for the hungry of Ventura County. The event features 20-minute yoga classes, given by the Yoga Jones teaching staff, starting on the half-hour from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. A Yoga Lounge with snacks, conversation, and a silent auction, will take place at the same time. In the evening, from 6:30 to 9 PM, master musician Tony Khalife and friends will lead Kirtan (call-and-response chanting). Suggested donations are $20 for all classes, $20 for Kirtan, or $30 for both.
