The CLU Wind Ensembles will mark the University’s 50th year with a concert of celebratory music. Beginning with Paul Creston’s Celebration Overture and ending with Gordon Jacob’s massive Music for a Festival. Also included will be a selection of American popular tunes with student vocal soloists. Daniel Geeting conducts. The CLU Jazz Improvisation Ensemble will perform a selection of jazz tunes in the West Coast tradition under the direction of Peter Woodford. Donations will be accepted. The musical event will be held on campus in the Samuelson Chapel. |
